Weed Control in the Landscape and Nursery with Dr. Mark Czarnota


Dr. Mark Czarnota is an Associate Professor in the Department of Horticulture at the University of Georgia on the UGA Griffin Campus.

Dr. Czarnota received his BS, MS, and Ph.D. from the University of Delaware, Virginia Tech, and Cornell University in 1989, 1995, and 2001.

His current responsibilities include all aspects of weed control in ornamentals, small fruits, Christmas trees, and floriculture.

His primary research interests are in weed biology, invasive weed control, Christmas tree species for the Southeast, natural products used as herbicides, and anything to do with herbicides, growth regulators, and adjuvants.
