Dr. Alfredo Martinez-Espinoza is a professor in the Department of Plant Pathology here at the University of Georgia. He is based here on the Griffin campus, and he has been with UGA for 19 years.
Alfredo is an extension specialist working on the development and transfer of information of new and recurring diseases of turfgrass, small grains, and forage grasses. He holds a Ph.D. from the Department of Plant Pathology at Montana State University in Bozeman.
Alfredo has published four books, numerous book chapters, over 350 articles in scientific journals, extension bulletins, and trade journals.
He is a very prolific author and has presented over 350 presentations to professional, county, and scientific groups.
